Women's Discus Throw
Notes: Senior Ellie Sitek of Wisconsin Oshkosh repeated as women's discus champion with a throw of 166 feet, one inch. Wisconsin Eau Claire sophomore Brittany Frederick was runner-up for the second year in a row with a throw of 156 feet. Calvin junior Sarah Reasoner was third with a mark of 152'1".

Her thoughts on being a defending national champion: “It feels great. I just wanted to come out and throw it. I had to wait until the end of the meet. Alright, so we went hammer, check. Then we went shot, check. And then came the discus, and I said alright.”
How her success last season helped her prepare for here: “It was that throw last year that really helped me get ready for this year. I really wanted to keep PR-ing. We have others in our conference that did really well both last year and this year. Our conference meet is very deep in terms of throwers.”
