Briana Aiken Quotes
Is this how you imagined your freshman year ending? No, not at all. I have never, ever done the long jump before about a month ago. I was very nervous.
When did you pick up this event? I literally picked the long jump up about a month ago like I said. A month before the season ended, and its crazy that I am now a national champion.
What would you say your primary event would be? I would say the 400. So, I would think that I would be qualifying for the 400 for nationals and not the long jump. I feel really blessed to be sitting here right now!
Thoughts on first year at Texas Lutheran:It was really hard. I had only done track and field for one year in high school before I got to college. When I made the switch to college, it was really tough for me to make that transition.
