Holly Ozanich Quotes:
On Moving up from ninth last spring to becoming the national champion: “My teammates and I hit the weight room really hard since then, and we have spent numerous hours outside getting used to the elements and figuring out how to maximize our abilities. I feel we have truly done that, and I am so grateful for my coaches and their hard work.”
On What it means to be so successful: “It is truly a dream of mine to be a national champion at the outdoor meet. It’s such a beautiful day today, and I feel blessed to be a part of this whole experience.”
What your plans are for the rest of the week: “I am going to relax and go shopping. I will cheer my teammates on the rest of the weekend, and then hop on the bus and head back to Wisconsin.”
How it feels to be a double national champion: “What a great accomplishment. It feels so good to be a champion indoors, and then to carry that momentum outdoors and complete the double.”
