Women's 800-Meter Run
Notes: Bethel senior Marie Borner won her second event of the day in a meet record time of 2:06.87 in the women's 800-meter run. Her time was also a Finnie Stadium record. The College of New Jersey senior Jianna Spadacinni was runner-up for the second year in a row in 2:08.05. Lizzy Danhakl of Willams finished third in 2:10.68 after finishing sixth last year.

On how it feels to be the 1500-meter and 800-meter NCAA Div. III Champion: “Good, I knew I could do it if I was smart all weekend and stayed hydrated and stayed out of the sun and I knew if I felt good I could do it, so if feels awesome to have done it. ”
On how she was able to win after the short turnaround following her win in the 1500-meter run: “It was definitely weird, I doubled at conference so I kind of knew a little bit of how it was going to go. It was kind of funny because as I was cooling down all of the 800 ladies were warming up and I was trying to get my feet up and get rid of some of the lactic acid in my legs and just stay warm and I knew I really needed to get out with a good first lap and just try to hold it."
