Notes: Illinois Wesleyan won the national title with a stadium record time of 46.07 seconds, the second best time in the history of Division III. Wartburg College, last year's national champion, was second in 46.10 and Wisconsin La Crosse was third in a time of 46.55.

Lauren Alpert: “I got the stick in second or third place, and I was the third leg. I had the wind at my back. I knew if I ran well, and then gave the stick to Shavantay on the heels of Wartburg, I knew we had a good shot at winning.”
Shavantay Thomas: “Really just Titan pride. I knew we had two seniors that aren’t here with us. I knew that they wanted us to go out on a good note, and how hard we’ve been working all season to be where we’re at right now. Never give up on a race, no matter how far ahead another team is in front of us. It’s just all about Titan pride. “
