Men's High Jump

Notes: Monmouth (Ill.) College junior Tyler Hannam won the men's high jump with an effort of 6 feet, 11 and one half inches. Last year's winner, John Kimmel of Manchester, was second, also clearing 6' 11.5". Hope College junior John Donkersloot was third at 6' 10.25".

On what he is thinking right now after winning the event. “It’s a long day, long competition. I was really nervous this whole weekend, it’s been a really long weekend, I’ve been waiting four days to jump and then today it didn’t help that we had a 45 minute break between jumps. I’m just excited to be here right now. ”
On his expectations for next year. “Just taking it one (track) meet at a time. I want to improve my personal best. I can’t look at it as a track meet, I can’t want to win the meet, I want to improve my personal best. ”
