Eric Woodruff Quotes
How do you feel being back-to-back national champion? I just feel great right now. Its just great to come back out here again and to be healthy and strong. Coming into it, I figured if I am going to run, I may as well just compete. And if youre going to compete, you might as well just do your best. And if youre going to do your best, you better go out and win. I just came out here and did exactly that. I came out here and did my best, and it all paid off in the end.
His thoughts about waiting until near the end of the meet to run: I ran a pretty good time in the preliminaries. I think somewhere around 20.25. It was just a matter of reassuring yourself that I knew I had it in me to do it, and I went out there and ran my race. I was happy with my performance, and it all paid off in the end.
