4 p.m.  Festivities Begin
North Campus Quadrangle, one block west of Finnie Stadium behind Ritter Library

(rain location: Lou Higgins Center, 136 E. Bagley Road)

Join us for:

  • Open house and tours of the new Thomas Family Center for Science and Innovation.
  • Burrell Observatory Open House (view sunspots and Venus).*
  • “Touch the Trucks Zone” courtesy of the City of Berea Police and Fire Departments and the BW Department of Buildings and Grounds.
  • Fun with Cleveland Browns mascot Chomps.
  • Face-painting by Suz-E-QT the clown.
  • BW Bookstore "Tent Sale."
  • Lawn games, music and more.

4:30-6:00 p.m.
Cookout featuring hamburgers, hot dogs, sloppy joes, macaroni salad, baked beans, brownies, cookies, iced tea, lemonade, soda and coffee will be held on North Quad (rain location:  Lou Higgins Center).  Mealtime entertainment will be provided by the BW Cheerleaders, the Conservatory of Music and the Yellow Jacket Marching Band. 

6:30 p.m.
Football kick-off.  BW vs. OAC-rival Capital University Crusaders, Tressel Field at the George Finnie Stadium.

9:00 p.m.
View Jupiter rising, a crescent moon and star clusters at Burrell Observatory.*
