, Cleveland, was promoted to chief privacy officer for Universal American. She was also invited to speak in Washington D.C. at the World Congress Leadership Summit on HIPAA and HITECH regulatory changes.

PENNY FORSTER
, Cleveland, has been promoted to corporate sales account executive for Cleveland Indians Baseball.
CHRISTOPHER (MAEd '06) and ASHLEY CHANDLER JOHNSON (MAEd '03) welcomed their son, Clayton, born September 30. Christopher is the coach for girls' varsity tennis at Magnificat High School where he has won two state championships and was named 2009 Tennis Coach of the Year. He also coaches boy's tennis at Lakewood High School.

, Delaware, and husband Michael welcomed their first child, a daughter, December 2009.
REBEKAH CHILCOTE, Cleveland, will partner with the International Child Art Foundation as the assistant program coordinator for the organization's Haiti Healing Arts program in July.  They will work with children who have been seriously affected and traumatized by the earthquake, providing art therapy -- individual and group sessions.

, Oceanside, Calif., and husband Jason welcomed a daughter, Alexy Rose, on January 13.
CRISTI SMITH KOPACHY, Salem, and husband Mike welcomed the birth of their second child, Michael William, October 14, 2009.  Cristi is a high school special education teacher for ECOT, the electronic classroom of tomorrow, and she is currently teaching personal development.
AMY MCARTHUR, Aurora, married Jonah Green on May 23, 2009, in Garfield Heights.  Jordan Andrews was a bridesmaid.
JOSHUA VIETH, Oregon, received his Ph.D. in biomedical sciences with a concentration in infection, immunity and transplant sciences from the University of Toledo in April 2010.  He has a post-doctorate position at the University of Toledo.

Cleveland, married Joshua Zielaskiewicz on October 24, 2009.
JULIE EGAN WITT, Brunswick, earned a Master's of Education in curriculum and instruction as a mild/moderate intervention specialist in December 2009 from Ashland University.
CLINTON NEEDHAM, Bloomington, received the Charles Ives Scholarship from the American Academy of Arts and Letters. His work “The Body Electric” for orchestra has been selected to be performed by the Omaha Symphony June 3 during the orchestra's New Music Symposium. He also has been commissioned to write a new work for the United States Air Force Band of the West to be premiered at the Texas Bandmasters Association on July 25 in San Antonio.
JENNIFER D'AGOSTINO SAMS, Madison, Wis., teaches private voice at Academy of Sound. She is also the alto soloist with the UW Choral in Beethoven's Missa Solemnis. Jennifer is the current director of Wisconsin Art Song Project.

EMILY SCHEETZ, Cleveland, is a clinical nurse for University Hospitals.
MATTHEW SEITZ, Mayfield Heights, was awarded Volunteer of the Year for 2009-2010 by the Make-A-Wish Foundation. He granted numerous wishes and planned several events.

Baltimore, Md., works in marketing and underwriting for Medical Mutual. 
MATTHEW PIETRO, Hudson, SARAH SAMPSELL '09, Columbia Station, and TODD ALEXANDER '08, Canfield, received a $20,000 grant from the City of Cleveland and Neighborhood Progress, Inc. to start Central Roots, an urban vegetable garden that is scheduled to open in June at East 59th Street and Thackeray Avenue.

, New York City, is appearing in Memphis, the newest musical blockbuster on Broadway.
CHRIS SCAFIDI, Brunswick, was recently sworn in as a Brunswick police officer. Chris is a 2009 graduate of the Cleveland Heights Police Academy and performed internships with the Bay Village and Willoughby Hills police departments.
CAITLIN SEWOLICH, Columbus, is a business analyst for JPMorgan Chase.
MICHAEL SILVA, New York, is a page for the "David Letterman Show."
MICHAEL WALLACE, Lakewood, is the Lakewood Baptist Church music director.
