How has your coursework affected your career plans: The coursework has opened up new ideas and doors for me to pursue. I plan to move into a new career, or expand in the medical community.
Why did you choose to attend B-W and what do you like best? I initially started work on the certificate program only, and then decided to pursue my Bachelor's degree. The B-W East location, and Saturday classes, won me over My first counselor was wonderful, and provided me with good information. The professors are amazing. The evening and weekend class schedule fits with my work schedule.
What has been your experience with different course formats? I have taken classes in the minimester format. The longer class meeting time, and accelerated format worked out great. I really got to immerse myself in the subject. I have also taken immersion formats, and they too have been enjoyable. I believe B-W has chosen to put the right type of classes into this format.
Please share an experience about a faculty person or course that strongly influenced and/or benefitted you: Margie Martyn, Karla Potetz and Vernice Jackson were my first professors at B-W and they have motivated me to coninue my college career.
