Career plans upon graduation: To continue my Information Technology career at AmTrust Bank and possibly move back into IT Management.

Has your coursework affected your career plans? "Legal Environment of Organizations" increased my interest in the legal aspect of IT Security and I have started to focus on expanding my knowledge in this area.  Also, my Human Resources and Management courses have renewed my interest in IT Management.

Why did you choose to attend B-W?  Although B-W was a more expensive choice, I felt it was important to attend a reputable college.  The convenient location and flexibility of the Evening-Weekend classes were also major factors in my decision.

What do you like best about Baldwin-Wallace College? I like the flexibility of the Evening-Weekend program.  This carries over into most aspects of my college experience from the knowledge and responsiveness of the faculty and counselors to scheduling and course work.   The option of 8-week and immersion classes is invaluable for part-time students.  I take as many minimester courses as possible.  Without them my timeframe for graduation would have been 6 years rather than 4 years!

Also, I participated in Study AbroadEvening-Weekend students are encouraged to participate in study abroad programs through the Explorations office.  I had the opportunity to travel to Iceland in May 2007.  This experience was incredible, and I was able to obtain 4 credits in Geology and Geology Lab.   I met a wonderful group of students and faculty and gained knowledge that reached far beyond the classroom.

Faculty person or course that strongly influenced you and/or benefited you? Dr. David Krueger taught me to challenge my current beliefs and helped me understand that I have a significant role in protecting our environment.
