Associate to Bachelor's (A2BW) Transfer Programs
Baldwin-Wallace College is an outstanding choice for transfer students who have completed their associate's degree and want a bachelor's degree recognized for respect, reputation and results. That's why B-W has established great programs that bring your associate's degree credit to B-W ... A2BW!
B-W is a valued partner with area community colleges, because we have strong transfer policies and honor the work completed at regionally-accredited two-year colleges as credit toward a Baldwin-Wallace degree. The Associate to Bachelor's (A2BW) programs reinforce the importance of the associate’s degree for community college graduates, and streamline how effectively those degrees transfer to B-W toward the student's goal of a bachelor’s degree.
Associate of Arts and Associate of Science Degrees
Students who earn the AA or AS degree from Tri-C, Lakeland and Lorain County Community College and who qualify for admission to B-W, will be awarded 62 semester hours of transfer credit, allowing you to enter Baldwin-Wallace College at junior standing. Transfer credits apply directly toward the student's major, core curriculum and electives. Students can choose any major toward the bachelor's degree with these credits.
Associate of Applied Business Degrees
Students who earn the AAB in Accounting, Management or Marketing from Tri-C, Lakeland and Lorain County Community College and who qualify for admission to B-W, will be awarded 62 semester hours of transfer credit, allowing you to enter Baldwin-Wallace College at junior standing. Transfer credits apply directly toward the student's major, core curriculum and electives. Students can choose any major toward the bachelor's degree with these credits. Often students choose to continue with a business-related major, so it is good to know that many major courses in accounting, management, marketing, human resources, health care management, finance, international business and entrepreneurship transfer as equivalencies from the community college. When students transfer extensive business courses from the community college as equivalencies, they may need to take additional 300-400 level courses in their major field to meet the major residency requirement at B-W.
