Associate to Bachelor Degree Programs

Baldwin-Wallace College is an outstanding choice for students who have completed their associate's degree and want a bachelor's degree recognized for respect, reputation and results. 

B-W is a valued partner with area community colleges, because we have strong transfer policies and honor the work completed at all regionally-accredited two-year colleges as credit toward a Baldwin-Wallace degree.  That's why B-W has established great programs that bring your associate's degree credit to B-W ... Associate to Bachelor Programs. 

Streamlined A2B Programs 

With A2B programs, your general education courses (what B-W calls the Core Curriculum) are almost entirely met through your associate's degree, and your focus is on completing your major and minor fields of study in the bachelor's degree.  A2B programs were designed for adults who have completed a technical or vocational associate’s degree that normally doesn’t transfer well to a bachelor’s degree program.  Earn your Bachelor of Arts degree in as little as 21 courses, in any of these major areas:

Associate of Arts and Associate of Science Degrees

Students who earn the AA or AS degree from Tri-C, Lakeland and Lorain County Community College and who qualify for admission to B-W, will be awarded 62 semester hours of transfer credit, allowing you to enter Baldwin-Wallace College at junior standing. Transfer credits apply directly toward the student's major, core curriculum and electives.  Students can choose any major toward the bachelor's degree with these credits. 

Associate of Applied Business Degrees

Students who earn the AAB in Accounting, Management or Marketing from Tri-C, Lakeland and Lorain County Community College and who qualify for admission to B-W, will be awarded 62 semester hours of transfer credit, allowing you to enter Baldwin-Wallace College at junior standing. Transfer credits apply directly toward the student's major, core curriculum and electives.  Students can choose any major toward the bachelor's degree with these credits.  Often students choose to continue with a business-related major, so it is good to know that many major courses in Accounting, Management, Marketing, Human Resources, Health Care Management, Finance, International Business and Entrepreneurship transfer as equivalencies from the community college.

Associate of Applied Business leading to B.A. in International Business

Students who earn an AAB degree from Tri-C with the concentration in International Business, and who qualify for admission to B-W, will be awarded 62 semester hours of transfer credit toward the BA in International Business, allowing you to enter Baldwin-Wallace College at junior standing. Transfer credits apply directly toward the major, core curriculum and electives. Tri-C students with other associate degrees may also enter this program, but may need some additional credits to complete the bachelor's degree.

Associate of Applied Science leading to B.A. in Criminal Justice

Students who earn an AAS degree in Law Enforcement or Police Science from Tri-C, Lakeland and Lorain County Community College, and who qualify for admission to B-W, will be awarded 62 semester hours of transfer credit toward the BA in Criminal Justice, allowing you to enter Baldwin-Wallace College at junior standing. Transfer credits apply directly toward the major, core curriculum and electives. 

Associate of Arts and Associate of Science leading to B.A. in Sustainability

Students who earn an AA or AS degree from Tri-C, and who qualify for admission to B-W, will be awarded 62 semester hours of transfer credit toward the BA in Sustainability, allowing you to enter Baldwin-Wallace College at junior standing. Transfer credits apply directly toward the major, core curriculum and electives.
