Theology
The courses offered by the Religion Department introduce students to a wide range of the religious traditions of the world. The Department seeks to equip students with the skills to understand and appreciate the rich diversity of religious traditions around the world as well as to understand and appreciate their own religious experiences.
The courses offered are grounded in a commitment to the liberal arts by their focus on interdisciplinary approaches, critical thinking, writing skills, and personal and spiritual development. A Religion major is ideal for students interested in the pursuit of a Christian vocation, graduate work in religious studies or theology, or a variety of careers in the public or private sector.
