The Biology and Chemistry majors at Baldwin-Wallace College prepare undergraduate students for graduate school as well as for an array of careers in the areas of medicine, dentistry, and veterinary practices.
The objective of the Biology and Chemistry curricula is to provide a strong foundation for students by emphasizing research, critical thinking, and communication in order to build the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in a biological career graduate/professional school.
Recent B-W graduates have pursued graduate and professional degrees in medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, veterinary medicine, genetic counseling, nursing, environmental science, and molecular biology. Recent graduates are employed by pharmaceutical companies, school systems, government agencies, zoos, research labs, environmental education centers, and biotechnology companies.
