I first off want to say that I am very sorry that you, the readers, have not heard from me in a long time. Life has been chaotic with the new schedule, winter break, new job, and many other things. I plan to get back on track though, and will be trying to post two blogs a week.
So let’s get caught back up to speed with what is going on at Baldwin Wallace. The fall sports programs are finally concluding their seasons, by holding their end of the year banquets. The Yellow Jacket Football Team had ours last Sunday. It was a very well planned event, and went by very quickly. President Durst spoke at the event, and it pains me to see him retiring at the end of the school year. He is a great man who has done so much for this college. He will surely be missed. On a happier note, it is almost Friday which means another week of class is almost in the books. This will be the end of week three, of classes. My schedule isn’t too bad this time, except for the fact that I have four night classes to attend each week. I cannot complain though because everything has been pretty easy so far. However, I don’t imagine that will last long LOL. I also had to get a new job at the REC. Football lifting/running seemed to get in the way of my previous job, and I had to find something else to supply me with amble work study. I went and talked it over with a few people at Lou Higgins and they helped me out. That is one of the benefits of a small campus. Everyone seems to be willing to help you out. I now am in charge of the Outdoor Adventure Club room during the day on MWF’s. It is a simple but challenging job because I have to pay attention to what is going on. Well that’s all for now. Talk to you soon.
