This weekend marks the third annual Beatles Festival on the Baldwin Wallace Campus. The festival is run and organized by two conservatory students: senior James Penca and junior Patrick Hyzy. This year, the festival is focused on the Beatles album Magical Mystery Tour. The concert will be a complete run through of the album from start to finish and will feature arrangements of each song by Baldwin Wallace students. Fan favorites like Hello, Goodbye, Penny Lane, Lady Madonna, and Hey Jude will be featured.
I’m really excited to see what these students have put together for this year’s festival. It is going to be an awesome event and students and faculty alike are enthusiastic about the creativity and publicity it will bring to the campus. If anything, the festival is an amazing tribute to the Beatles and the legacy that their band left on rock and roll. Come to the concerts this weekend! Here’s a link to thedates:
