Last semester I applied for the Bach Festival internship offered by the Conservatory Events Office. I ended up getting the position and had my first day on the job on Tuesday. Before I even started the semester I was nervous about starting the internship because I really didn’t know what to expect. I wasn’t sure what I would be required to do or what would be expected of me.
My boss, Erika Haskell, was very kind and patient with me as I asked my many questions. Right now she is getting ready for the CODA conference being held at the conservatory this weekend, so I’m sure my questions were nothing but an annoyance. She was so patient with me that I started to feel more comfortable about the whole situation. I am honored to be chosen for this amazing internship on campus and I really appreciate all of Erika’s help thus far. My second day of the internship is tomorrow. I will post more about how it is progressing in the future.
Here is the great maestro Bach himself!
