Christmas Eve Pageant

Christmas Eve is one of my favorite nights of the year because I get to go to church and help out with the children’s Christmas pageant. This year I was in charge of the little barn animals. I had to corral three sheep, two goats, one cow and one pig. The kids did really well. They made a lot of animal noises and crawled down the center aisle of the sanctuary. No one cried and they were all very quiet while they were waiting for their entrance. I was very proud of them.

My sister Emma got to sing for the service and my brother participated in the pageant as a narrerator. We got to take pictures in our fancy clothes and sing some of my favorite Christmas carols “Angels We Have Heard on High,” “Silent Night,” and “Oh, Holy Night.” We had a candle light vigil and welcomed Christmas. We wished Baby Jesus a happy birthday. Merry Christmas to all!
