In my family we do something called "Destination Unknown", we go places or do activities but the kids have no idea where we are going or what we will be doing. This past weekend over Fall Break we did an extended Destination Unknown. I went home on Thursday night and was able to spend the night relaxing with my family which was great. On Friday our Destination Unknown began, all that my younger brother and I were told was to dress warmly. We got in the car and drove for awhile and then my parents told us that we were going to Cedar Point for Halloweekends! We had a great time there, we were a little worried that it would be too cold but the weather ended up being perfect. I loved being at Cedar Point in the fall, I'm used to being there in the summer when it is extremely hot so the cooler weather was nice and it was really fun seeing the park transformed for Halloween. My brother and I rode on the rides together and my parents were able to spend time together while they were waiting for us.
The next morning we woke up and got ready for the next portion of our Destination Unknown, we got in the car and drove for about 45 minutes and then my parents revealed that our next destination was Pittsburgh. I was so excited to hear that we were going to Pittsburgh, it is such a fun city and we had a great time there. We were able to walk around and enjoy the city, we had a great dinner and really enjoyed spending time together. At the end of the day we still had one more destination left, we had a guess of where we were going but weren't sure, it turned out that we were right, we went to my grandparents. I hadn't been to my grandparents house in a few months so it was great to see them and to spend time with them at their house. Overall it was a great weekend and I had so much fun making memories with my family!
