Questions and answers
Why did you choose to attend Baldwin-Wallace?
I have always been familiar with Baldwin Wallace all of my life. Both of my parents attended Baldwin Wallace and it has always been an aspiration for me to attend BW. However, the number one reason why I chose BW was because of my campus visit my tour guide really made me feel at home; on the same visit I had a chance to meet with a Political Science Professor and this made me realize that a small school like BW was where I could really succeed in the classroom, and be involved in organizations around campus.
What is your favorite thing about BW?
My favorite thing about BW would have to be the faculty and staff. This is because they really do care and interact with the students. I can send an email to one of my professors and in the same day receive and email back. The culture and community that makes up BW is not found elsewhere.
What has BW helped you learn about yourself?
BW has helped me understand myself in many different ways. By being able to be involved in student organizations around campus there are times where I have to go out of my comfort zone while it is challenging sometimes it makes me learn more about myself. BW also has made me realize that there are numerous possibilities that if you work hard you can get there.
What advice would you give to prospective students?
The best advice that I give all prospective students is pick a school where you feel most comfortable and where you can see yourself succeed in the next four years because college is a time to learn and grow as an individual.
