Lacrosse has been a scapegoat for me this semester. For a second I thought I would be dreading fall ball. Managing classes, working out, going to work and lacrosse sounded like a handful. However, I’ve been able to balance my time successfully. Lacrosse itself has been the joy of my semester. I enjoy the exile of working. Both school and a job can be overwhelming at times.
But a sport is more played for the passion. Every time I walk on the field I’m able to release the overwhelming feelings or the stress generated through the week. Also laughing and joking with my closest friends, my teammates are a satisfaction of life. We bond like brothers and rather than the work or school environment, we’re outside enjoying the weather, each other’s company and fulfilling our passion.
