Cleveland Rock

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. I'm obsessed with the fact that BW is so close to the mini metropolis that is, Cleveland Ohio. Last Saturday, February 2nd,  I got the chance to go to the Cavs vs. Thunder basketball game, at "The Q", with my boyfriend and his brothers. We took a cab from his brother's house in Lakewood to downtown before the game and got to the will call in time to get our FREE tickets. Free, only because my boyfriend knows some Cavalier girls who can get 2 comps per game.

I have a weird notion that I'm a good luck charm for the Cavs, as nearly every game I've been to they've won. Going into this one, I didn't have much hope for a win against the OKC all-star Kevin Durant and Co, but I changed my tune as the game got underway.  Kyrie was on fire and so was Marreese Speights, who confidently scored 21 points for Cleveland. The game just heated up more and more, as it went on, and everyone at the Q was fired up and pulling for our boys. When we pulled through for the big win, I knew my beliefs were true. We all celebrated and walked into the Cleveland streets with the masses chattering and in the high spirits they used to be in when the "King" was still in town. I'm the good luck charm for the Cavs. No need to thank me.
