As kids age, we get more and more picky about gifts we get for Christmas. Family members are afraid to buy ugly sweaters we’ll just return anyway, so we start receiving just money and gift cards (always appreciated) to spend how we want. This year, I made a vow to not blow all my money on a whole new wardrobe, and buy something to benefit me as a musician. I began an eBay search for guitars, but as I looked I got more and more apprehensive about buying an instrument that takes so much time to learn and didn’t want to get frustrated and not follow through with it. SO I came to the conclusion to purchase the guitar’s “mini-me”, a ukulele! I knew one of my best friends had just received a uke for Christmas and was in love with it. I asked her about brands and did some research. Two hours later, I had ordered a gorgeous mahogany concert ukulele with a tuner and gig bag.
After weeks of anticipation, my baby Luke the uke finally made it to Berea today! I haven’t put it down since…sorry BW I’m the one you here relentlessly playing Jason Mraz and Ingrid Michaelson.
