I highly encourage all students who are entering their first year in college to live in the First-Year Area (FYA). Living in the FYA allows you to connect with people who are in the same situation as you. You are all starting off on a new adventure not really knowing too many people. These will be the people you will be with all throughout your college career. I did not stay in the FYA when I came to BW and I immediately connected with upperclassmen (Juniors and Seniors at the time). Well it is now time for those students to graduate and begin a new chapter of their life. I am extremely proud of them all and I congratulate all of the graduating students of 2013! But looking into the future, many of my friends will be gone and now have to get acquainted with new people and almost start over again. My advice is to get to know people in your class so you can be on the same level and have a great relationship with people all through college. It will be beneficial to you. Trust me! Regardless, I am still very proud of them and I wish them all the best of luck in the future. Besides, I will still be seeing them from time-to-time!
