My First Real Spider

In my first blog I mentioned on the list of things to do was to not freak out when I saw my first spider. Well, I came into my room fast one night to get my bag and out of the corner of my eye I saw a spider! I feel that to pair the name spider with this particular spider it needs to be bold, underlined, red and surrounded in flashing lights. (Ok maybe i’m over exaggerating a bit). I, sadly, did not have my cell phone with me so I had to us my room phone (yes we have house phones in every room of the apartment) to phone for help. I was almost paralyzed with fear. Every part of me wanted to leave but I couldn’t. What if it moved! Then I thought how long has this been here? How did it get in? My window screen is always closed and my bedroom door is closed unless I am home. How could I have missed this beast come into my room! Then I thought it had to have been hiding in here watching me the whole time. About 20 minutes later we managed to get the spider down. It barley fit underneath the cup. There was a lot of screaming from boys and girls alike. The spider was let out alive and I am ok as well.
