Baldwin Wallace University again has earned a top 15 ranking in U.S. News & World Report's annual survey of "America's Best Colleges." This is the eighteenth consecutive year that BW is listed among the top 15 regional colleges and universities in the Midwest, coming in at number 12 on the list.
"This recognition is a tribute to the outstanding work being done throughout our campus community," said BW President Dick Durst. "We are grateful to all faculty and staff who work so tirelessly to provide the wonderful learning and growth opportunities for our diverse student body."
"Best Value" Listing Highlights Quality and Affordability
In an era of increased focus on quality and cost, the College also is listed again among the best values in higher education. In the category of "Great Schools, Great Prices," BW placed eighth for exceptional value among Midwest colleges and universities.
"This endorsement, in addition to continuing efforts like our newly launched 4-year Graduation Guarantee, serves as a beacon for cost-conscious students and their families," said Durst. "It's an affirmation that BW is committed to both quality and affordability."
Engaging a Broad Student Body to Achieve Highest Potential
BW also was highlighted in another 2012 category, "A+ Schools for B Students," among institutions that "truly seek a broad, engaged student body."
"BW's teaching faculty works to help all students achieve their highest potential," Durst said. "We strive to offer each student a customized educational experience that provides a host of opportunities to apply what is learned in the classroom in real world situations."
