The Baldwin Wallace University, Office of College Relations, has announced four winners in the inaugural "Best of BW" Video Contest for students. The $300 First Prize was awarded to Benjamin Meadors for "New Play Festival." Ben’s video, linked here, highlighted the work of talented BW students who helped to bring the plays to life.
Receiving the Second Place award of $150 was Irene Moeller’s "Be the Best" entry, which creatively showcased many of BW's winning Division III athletes, among other campus success stories and highlights. Follow this link to view Irene’s video.
The judges chose to recognize two Third Place Winners with $50 prizes. Matt Triana's ode to BW's sports teams, "Tradition Continued" and Adam Bianchi’s testimonial montage, "Best of Baldwin Wallace University" were tied for 3rd Place.
“We appreciate the talent and creativity of the students who entered,” said George Richard, assistant vice president and director of College Relations. “The students took very different approaches and we welcomed their diverse video viewpoints."
Richard says College Relations will offer at least $500 in prize money again for the spring contest. "We hope to attract even more participants when we put out a call for entries in the spring semester," said Richard. "The possibilities for video stories on campus are almost endless.”
Students are encouraged to watch campus email and communications channels for official rules and entry deadlines next month.
