All students will have piano as their secondary applied instrument, unless piano or organ is the primary instrument.  If you have any piano experience, you should take the piano placement test on the audition day.  Students must meet a required level of piano proficiency prior to graduating with a major in music.

ACCOMPANIST INFORMATION
  • Musical theatre students will be provided a professional accompanist and should bring their music on audition day.
  • The Conservatory will provide an accompanist for other voice students who do not bring their own.
    Please check if you would like an accompanist. (It is not necessary that instrumental auditions be accompanied.)
  • At off-campus locations, accompanists are not required and cannot be provided. However, a piano will be available, and you may bring your own accompanist.
