The phrase "living a dog's life," takes on new meaning in A.R. Gurney's mad comedy, Sylvia becomes a major bone of contention between a husband and wife. The marriage is in serious jeopardy until, after a series of hilarious and touching complications, the two humans learn to compromise and Sylvia becomes a valued part of their lives.
