Dr. Jack B. Winget is a full time professor in the Communication and Theatre Department at Baldwin-Wallace College. He has earned an Undergraduate and Masters degree from Bowling Green State University and his Ph. D. from Kent State University. A Cleveland area Director and Actor, Jack had produced and performed at Baldwin-Wallace College Theatre, Berea Summer Theatre, the Beck Center for the Performing Arts and Clague Playhouse. A student of the Second City founder, Paul Sills, he works with both performance and rehearsal improvisation. Dr. Winget teaches in theatre and communication. His areas of specialty are Acting, Directing, American Theatre History, and Interpersonal Communication. An Auctioneer, Jack is an effective bid caller for Charity Auctions held in Northeastern Ohio. The Lake Erie Nature and Science Center and The Great Lakes Historical Society are but two local organizations that have benefited financially from his auctioneering expertise. Audition and Acting Workshops have become another area of involvement that keeps Jack feeling fresh and involved in the local theatre scene.
