You are invited to attend a public panel discussion on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at 5:00 PM at Baldwin Wallace University's Center for Innovation and Growth: "Corporate Philanthropy, Civic Engagement, and Nonprofit Governance: Measuring our Effectiveness."
Corporate philanthropy, civic engagement, public/private partnerships, and employee volunteerism are all vital ways that companies exercise good corporate citizenship in their surrounding communities. How can companies measure their performance and effectiveness in these areas? Are there benchmarks and best practices for measuring success? How can these efforts be best communicated and reported both internally and externally?
And on the nonprofit side, how do nonprofit organizations best fulfill their missions? How does one measure their performance in terms of organizational effectiveness and good governance practices? How can they create and nurture effective relationships with corporate, foundation and private donors? What are the best practices in this area?
Come hear an esteemed panel of experts from the corporate, foundation and nonprofit communities share their views on how we can all work together for the growth and well-being of our communities and region.
