Current real-world topics make sociology a major that is relevant and rewarding.  Through thought-provoking seminars, national speakers and other experiential initiatives being offered on campus, you can grasp the complexity of terrorism, racial inequality, global issues and other factors affecting society.

Flexible
We offer you the option of earning a bachelor’s degree or following a 3/2 program. Participants in the 3/2 Social Work Affiliated Program earn a bachelor’s degree from B-W and a master’s degree from Case Western Reserve University.

Strong academics, scientific research and practical field experiences prepare you for career or graduate school success. Faculty mentoring plus a state-of-the-art computer lab offer you hands-on opportunities to analyze data, test hypotheses and conduct research.  Over the years, our students have presented at national conferences and published scholarly works.
