1999 - William Wright,
Pittsburgh, PA., is an assistant professor of theology at Duquesne
University. He received an M.T.S. from the University of
Notre Dame and completed his Ph.D. in religion from Emory
University. In July 2005 he was married to Michelle
Garriott. Dr. Wright is a Scripture scholar. His areas of
specialization and interest include the New Testament writings, the
Gospel According to John in particular, as well as the history of
biblical interpretation, Dr. Wright graduated from BW with a
major in history and a minor in religion.
2001 - Heather Good, Washington, D.C. is a
licensed associate practicing primarily antitrust law for Cornell
& Moring. She graduated from Emory Law School in 2005 and
also served as a law clerk to the Honorable Edward E. Carnes on the
Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
2002 - Alice Walsh, Chatham, NJ., received a
Master of Divinity (summa cum laude) from the Theological School of
Drew University. Alice is a probationary member of the
Greater NJ Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church,
serving both the Elizabeth M. Boggs Center on Development
Disabilities as chaplain, and the Green Village UM Church as
assistant pastor.
2005 - Stanya Greathouse received her Master of Arts in Counseling Ministries at MTSO (Methodist Theological School in Ohio) in May of 2008 and will continue for the next year or so to complete the remainder of coursework for the Master of Divinity degree. She has taken a chaplaincy position at Mount Carmel Hospital in Columbus, OH
2006 - Dawn Martin is attending Eden
Theological Seminary in Saint Louis, MO for her Master of Divinity
degree.
2008 - Deanna Drake is a case manager for the
Washington D.C. based “Bread for the City,” which is an
organization that welcomes the homeless and provides, not only food
and clothing, but also job counseling and assistance in securing
housing. This program is part of the AmeriCorps Vista program
which is the national service program designed to fight
poverty.
2008 - Adam Spencer has begun an
internship at Trinity Cathedral, the Cathedral of the Episcopal
Diocese of Ohio, in downtown Cleveland. Adam will work this
year as the assistant to The Very Rev. Tracey Lind, the Dean of the
Cathedral, and he will also work in youth ministry. Seminary
and/or graduate school probably lie in Adam's future.
