
Brief Biography
Dr. Nancy Gussett is Assistant Professor and Chair of the Department of Psychology. She received her B.A. at Ohio Northern University, and her M.A. and Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Akron. She is an expert in the application of human information processing to selection decisions. In addition, her specialties include job evaluation, selection systems, training, and personnel psychology. She has had over 10 years of experience doing applied consulting projects at the local and national level. Her research interests include factors affecting sexual harassment and issues associated with breastfeeding in the workplace. Dr. Gussett regularly teaches courses in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Tests and Measurements, and History of Psychology.
