Philosophy Events

Baldwin Wallace University will host the Ohio Philosophy Association 2015 Annual Meeting this Spring on
April 11, 2015.  The event allows philosophy professors, graduate students, and for the first time this year, undergraduate students, to present papers on any topic in the field of philosophy.  The conference attracts philosophers in Ohio and from throughout the Midwest.  The keynote speaker is Dr. Claudia Card, from University of Wisconsin-Madison, who will be presenting a talk entitled “Gratitude to the Decent Rescuer.”

Call for Papers! Philosophy students who wish to submit a paper for presentation at the conference are encouraged to do so.  Undergraduate student papers are invited on any topic.  Review will be blind and conducted by the editorial staff of Sapere Aude at The College of Wooster.  Accepted papers will be considered also for publication in the 2015 print volume of the journal.  Papers should be less than 4000 words (not including notes) and be deliverable in half an hour or less.  Submissions should be prepared for blind review and include an abstract of no more than 200 words.   Click here for submission guidelines.
