How I got involved in the lab: I took Principles of Neuroscience in the fall of 2006 with no desire to double major with a neuroscience degree. However, upon completing the class I became highly interested in the field.
My experience working in the lab: The lab is a very comfortable place to work. Everyone is a big group of friends really. It is well organized, friendly, and I really enjoy being a part of the experience.
How I think the lab is helping me obtain my long-term goals: I believe with all the hands on experience and knowledge that comes from being exposed to the lab setting, this will definitely help out my plans for the future.
