Goals: I desire to get real-world experience working as the laboratory director at the Mickley Neuroscience Laboratory. After obtaining this experience, I would like to continue on with my education and pursue a career in the medical world whether it is research oriented or in a clinical setting.

How I got involved in the lab: My advisor told me about it so I spoke to Dr. Mickley and got involved.

My experience working in the lab: It is a home away from home. I love the people, the work, and the atmosphere. It is so much fun.

How I think the lab is helping me obtain my long-term goals: I've learned alot about how research works especially the good versus the bad aspects of it. I've also gained laboratorym interpersonal, and professional skills that I will use whether I go into medicine or pure research. (I plan on doing a mixture of both areas)
