Part-Time Enrollment

Are you currently working full-time in a college or university setting and know it's time to begin your master's degree?  The LHE program has a part-time enrollment option for professionals already employed full-time at a college or university.

BW's MAEd in Leadership in Higher Education is distinctive in that integrates courses that are relevant to careers in both Student Affairs and Academic Affairs. Core courses include student development theory, campus diversity and college outcomes. You will explore ethical decision making, funding and finance, curriculum and instruction, staff development, and marketing practices.

Applicants to the part-time program must have at least two years of full-time higher education employment, with at least one year in their current position.  Part-time applicants secure approval from their current employer to complete an internship that averages 8 hours per week as part of the program requirements. The part-time LHE program may be completed within two and a half years when taking one to two courses per semester.  Classes meet one evening a week.
