Spend a Semester in Washington, DC

This unique semester-long internship program based at Georgetown University in Washington, DC helps students develop their resume and professional skills, while gaining course credits and valuable job experience interning in a wide variety of settings, including Congress, news organizations, non-profits, and law firms.

To complement their internship experience, students choose from 6 seminars specializing in a variety of fields, including Law, Legislation and Politics; Religion and Political Culture; International Relations; and International Commerce and Trade. Through these seminars, student are introduced to professionals in these fields.

For students who are in the National Security track or interested in gaining an internship in the field of national security, the program will help you find an internship in this area. If you apply early enough, the Program may also be able to help you get a security clearance, if needed.

The program is 16 credits. While housing costs a bit more, YOU PAY BW TUITION.

The program fulfills your Experiential Learning Requirement.
