B-W’s Health Promotion and Education major is a extensive program that prepares you for success in this dynamic field. You’ll gain the insights and competencies to work in schools, public/private agencies, worksites, health departments and clinical settings.

Comprehensive
Real-world focused, our program combines the strengths of a liberal arts foundation with specialized coursework in physiology, psychology, sociology and more. You’ll go beyond the basics and explore personal and community health issues, nutrition, substance abuse, human sexuality education, consumer education, teaching strategies and program management.
