There are many events and celebrations each semester that allow students to use foreign languages and experience cultures with other students and faculty. Here are some events happening soon:
Save the Date!Baldwin-Wallace International Film SeriesFri. Feb 3; Sat. Feb 4; Sun. Feb 5; The International Film Series hosts a yearly international film festival on campus. The organization works with the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures and the various cultural organizations on campus to show films representing a variety of cultures. CLICK HERE for more information. Chinese New Year 2012 Chinese classes and the Chinese club are looking forward to their celebration of the Chinese New Year. Also called the Lunar New Year, this celebration occurs in the early months of our calendar year, typically January or February, and this year falls on Monday, January 23. This is the first of 15 days of celebration and the start of the Year of the Dragon. |
Language Tables
Come practice your language skills with friends. We meet weekly at local establishments in downtown Berea to have food, coffee and conversation! Everyone who is interested in conversing in a foreign language and wants to keep his/her skills up should come and enjoy! Perfect grammar not required!
