Praxis II
All teacher licensure candidates are required by the B-W Division of Education and the State of Ohio to pass the Praxis II examination (Principles of Learning & Teaching and one or more Specialty Subject Area Tests) in order to be eligible for an initial teaching license. The summary pass rates for all Principles of Learning & Teaching tests over a three-year period are shown in Table 1. Table 2 lists the summary pass rates for all specialty subject area tests over the same three-year period for initial licensure.
