Middle Childhood Education (Grades 4-9)
Students earn the Master of Arts in Education degree from Baldwin-Wallace College, along with an initial teaching license in Middle Childhood Education (Grades 4 - 9). The Middle Childhood Education license requires two teaching fields selected from Mathematics, Reading/Language Arts, Science and/or Social Studies.
As part of their master's program, students choose a graduate specialization in Reading, Mild/Moderate Educational Needs or Educational Technology.
Program Outlines
Students must complete one of the following:
License+Masters - Middle Childhood with Reading
License+Masters - Middle Childhood with Mild/Moderate Educational Needs
License+Masters - Middle Childhood with Education Technology
Candidates will not be recommended for Middle Childhood licensure or for the graduate specialization endorsement/license until all License+Master's program requirements are completed and he/she is eligible for the Master of Arts in Education degree.
