Master of Arts - Education

 

License+Master's Program

Adolescent/Young Adult (7-12) and Multi-Age (PreK-12)

Students earn the Master of Arts in Education degree from Baldwin-Wallace College, along with an initial teaching license in a subject area for Grades 7-12 (Adolescent/Young Adult) or all grades (Multi-Age: PreK-12).   

Graduate Specializations

Students must complete an AYA/Multi-Age teaching field (above) along with one of the following graduate specializations.

Teaching Fields

In addition to the Graduate Specialization, students must select a teaching field from one of the following:

Adolescent/Young Adult Teaching Fields:  
         Integrated Language Arts - Grades 7-12
        
Integrated Mathematics - Grades 7-12
        
Integrated Science Outline - Grades 7-12
         
Integrated Social Studies - Grades 7-12
         
Life Science - Grades 7-12
         
Physical Sciences - Grades 7-12

Multi-Age Teaching Fields:
        French - PreK-12
        
German - PreK-12
        
Spanish - PreK-12
       
Physical Education & Health - PreK-12
       
Visual Arts - PreK-12

 
Candidates will not be recommended for AYA/Mulit-Age teacher licensure or for the graduate specialization endorsement/license until all License+Master's program requirements are completed and he/she is eligible for the Master of Arts in Education degree.
