Dr. Judith Shabaya

 
 
 Judith Shabaya earned her PhD and Master's degrees in Education at The University of Akron.  She is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Division of Education at Baldwin-Wallace College where she teaches literacy courses.  Prior to her current position, she served as a Reading Field Service Professor in the College of Applied Science at the University of Cincinnati.  She also taught as an Assistant Professor of Education at Park University, Missouri.  Dr. Shabaya has been working in the field of education for more than 20 years and has authored several scholarly papers and presented at various national and international conferences.  Her research interests include global literacy education, metacognition and learning, bilingual education, gender and diversity issues in the learning environment.
