Dr. Clayton Dusek

edufac002.jpg Dr. Dusek is a Full Professor in the Division of Education and serves as the Coordinator of the Adolescent-Young Adult (AYA) programs in the Division.  He earned his Ph.D. in School Administration from The Ohio State University in 1982.  He came to Baldwin-Wallace after a successful career in the public schools where he taught high school physics and math, served as a junior high principal and later as a school superintendent in three Ohio school districts, the most recent being in near-by Avon Lake.  He teaches both undergraduate and graduate courses with specialties in the AYA undergraduate courses and school leadership at the graduate level.  He continually seeks ways to maintain connections with the people working in K-12 schools.  He currently tutors two third graders at a Cleveland elementary school and mentors two new assistant principals in area high schools.   He is also part of an “education family” with a wife who directs a pre-school and two children who are also educators.
