The Kerzner Lecture Series was established in honor of the achievements of Harold Kerzner (Ph.D., MS, Engineering and MBA),who has served as full-time and emeritus faculty since 1976. It serves as a reflection of the ongoing support and commitment Baldwin Wallace University has to the development of the profession of project management.
Project managers and project management have been shaping the future for centuries. Sustainability, mega projects, natural disasters, economic uncertainties, and risk are the new project management playing field and that field will continue to change, moving and shifting continuously. The future will require imagination, skill, discipline, adaptive leadership, and a willingness not only to accept change but to drive it.
This presentation focuses on the importance of project management and the need for skilled professional project managers to take new ideas and creative solutions from concept to reality, architecting a future environment that is sustainable and adaptable to meet the needs of our global community.
The 2013 Kerzner Lecture Series is generously sponsored b the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company.
