Process Improvement and Innovation

Process Improvement is a systematic approach to identify improvement opportunities, analyze alternatives, and implement solutions.

There are many methods and tools that fall under the continuous improvement umbrella. The Baldwin-Wallace College Process Improvement Certificate Series prepares you with practical education on the most  common tools and the best applications for your business. 

Take one class or complete the entire series to ensure you are equipped with all the right  methods to improve your company's performance.

Certificate Fee: $2343 - Enrollment in the program is a 15% discount over regular program fees!

Audience: Individuals responsible for leading and facilitating process improvement in their organization

Certificate Requirements: To receive a Certificate of Completion you must complete all courses in the series within an 18-month period

Required courses:

Process Innovation - 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.; May 2 & 3, 2012 or November 7 & 8, 2012
The tools and techniques of Process Innovation go beyond finding creative solutions to business process challenges; they provide the context and direction so that your organization's investment in process change yields meaningful and lasting returns.

Change Management - 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.; May 16, 2012 or October 2, 2012
This course is designed to enable individuals to manage organizational changes. Participants will use simulations and create a change management plan specific to their organization.

Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification - 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.; September 18 & 19, 2012
Yellow Belt Certification provides an overall insight to the techniques of Six Sigma, its metrics  and basic improvement methodologies.

Process Mapping and Modeling - 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.; October 18 & 19, 2012
Properly used, process maps can peel away the complexity of your organization and focus on what is truly the heart of your business. In this course you will apply tools that will select processes for re-engineering and give direction to the future quality improvement efforts.
