Format and Prerequisite:
The Myers-Briggs Qualifying programs are designed to accommodate participants who prefer shorter class time with approximately 10-20 hours of pre-course study. The pre-work includes completing online assessments and notebook study. Assessment instructions and the course notebook will be shipped in the weeks prior to the training start date. If you register less than six weeks prior to program start date, pre-work will be sent out immediately upon receiving your registration and payment.

Professional qualification training provides a two day basic qualification program plus a third day focused on the design and development of interpretation sessions with individuals and groups including how to apply type with teams. This course requires 10-20 hours of pre-work. Professional qualification includes:
- Basic knowledge of Jung and Myers' theory of personality preferences
- Development and construction of the MBTIŽ instrument
- Administration and Interpretation guidelines
- Basic considerations of type dynamics and type development
- The impact of type differences and type dynamics on communication and team member interaction
- In-depth understanding of type dynamics
- In-depth understanding of the mental functions
- CD containing PowerPoint files for conducting introductory workshops, facilitator's guide for conducting introductory workshops, and exercises to use when applying type
- Laminated, dual-sided Dynamic Type Table/Team Effectiveness Chart

Basic qualification training provides everything you need to become a qualified practitioner. This course requires 10-20 hours of pre-work and includes:
- Basic knowledge of Jung and Myers' theory of personality preferences
- Development and construction of the MBTIŽ instrument
- Administration and Interpretation guidelines
- Basic considerations of type dynamics and type development
- Test and measurements relative to the MBTIŽ instrument

McAlpine, MA, President, Type Resources, has designed and managed leadership assessment and development programs for hundreds of army officers and qualified hundreds of clients to use the MBTI. Bob's leadership and extraordinary classroom skills draw on over two decade's experience as a career military officer, the U.S. Army Organizational Leadership and TQM Programs for Executives, experience as a DDI Certified Master Assessor and graduate research on the MBTI and Situational Leadership. |

Cancellation and Substitution Policy
Full payment by cash, check, money order, or credit card (MasterCard, Visa, Discover) is needed to confirm your registration. Company or government purchase orders will be accepted. Your registration will not be guaranteed unless payment or prior arrangements have been made within the time guidelines for each program.
If you are unable to attend a program, please notify our department at 440-826-2253 to cancel, transfer or make a substitution.
Substitutions can be made at any time prior to the start of the program.
Cancellations received 30 days prior to the start date of the program will be refunded the full seminar fee. Cancellations and Transfer registrations made less than 30 days will be charged a $150 fee. No refund will be issued once the program has begun.
Qualifying Programs offer contact hours for continuing professional education requirement for renewal of counselor licenses and social work licenses and are also approved for HRCI credit.
